PLANNED SYSTEM MAINTENANCE OCCURRING SATURDAY, JUNE 29 – SUNDAY, JUNE 30
June 27, 2024 (SAN ANTONIO) – CPS Energy customer services will only be available to customers for emergency-related calls from 8:00 am on Saturday, June 29 through 12:00 pm on Sunday, June 30 due to planned system maintenance.
During the system maintenance, the call center will only be able to process emergency gas and electric outages and will not be able to accept or process customer payments. There will be no customer disconnects during this system outage.
The planned system maintenance, beginning Saturday, June 29, will impact customer-facing tools such as Manage My Account, customer alert notifications, the CPS Energy Outage Map and outage reporting, and the automated phone system which allows customers to get balances, make payment arrangements and update their account without speaking to a representative. EZ Pay credit card and Western Union payment processing, including payments at HEB locations, will also be unavailable during the maintenance.
CPS Energy anticipates the automated phone system, self-service options, and web portals to be online by noon Sunday, June 30. CPS Energy customer services will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 1 at 7:00 a.m.
