A Man of Many Hats and a Heart for Volunteering

As we continue to celebrate National Volunteer Appreciation Month this April, we would like to take the time to recognize CPS Energy employee, Sammy Perez, Manager of Talent Development, for National Volunteer Recognition Day.

This past March, Sammy was recognized at the State Capitol by State Rep. Elizabeth Campos and the City of Converse for the numerous volunteer events he has been a part of.

In the video below, hear from Sammy on what volunteerism means to him and why it is so important to get involved.

Sammy reminds those who have not volunteered, “There’s plenty of places to go and volunteer. I guarantee you, the first time you volunteer for something, you’re gonna be hooked.”
