CPS ENERGY CONTINUES IMPROVEMENTS IN NORTH SAN ANTONIO TO SUPPORT RELIABILITY

Work will result in rolling stops in Loop 1604 and Vance Jackson area on Sunday, June 12

June 10, 2022 (SAN ANTONIO) – CPS Energy continues improvements to support reliability for customers near the Loop 1604 and I-10 North corridor. A project that involves installing and removing overhead power lines crossing Loop 1604 is happening between I-10 and Vance Jackson Road.

The work will take place on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2 a.m. – 2 p.m. No customers will be affected with outages from the work being performed. 

Rolling stops will be conducted as CPS Energy crews work on both sides of the Loop 1604 highway and access roads. In conjunction with both contractors and law enforcement, traffic control will be provided in the area. CPS Energy reminds drivers to Move Over Slow Down, per State law, for crew and driver safety.
