REMOVAL OF OVERHEAD ELECTRIC LINE REQUIRES SUNDAY LANE CLOSURE

Road closure at SE Loop 410 is scheduled to improve electric reliability on the southeast side of San Antonio

February 16, 2024 (SAN ANTONIO) – CPS Energy is working to improve the quality of the overhead lines across SE Loop 410.

The SE Loop 410 Project will consist of CPS Energy contractors and crews removing the electrical line across SE Loop 410. This project will cause a road closure starting at SE Loop 410 and extending one mile northeast of the Hwy 281/Hwy 37 interchange as well as one mile southwest of the South WW White Road exit.

The work will take place on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., weather permitting. Alamo City Public Safety will provide traffic control and no customer outages are anticipated as a result of this closure.

Drivers are asked to find alternative routes and avoid the areas, if possible. CPS Energy reminds drivers to Move Over or Slow Down, per State law, for crew and driver safety.
