CPS ENERGY OFFICES CLOSED MONDAY, DECEMBER 26 AND MONDAY, JANUARY 2 IN OBSERVANCE OF CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS

December 22, 2022 (SAN ANTONIO) – CPS Energy offices and customer service centers will be closed on Monday, December 26, 2022, and Monday, January 2, 2023, in observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays. CPS Energy customer service centers will resume normal operations at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27 and Tuesday, January 3.

During the holidays, customers can report natural gas or electric emergencies by calling (210) 353-HELP (4357) or 1-800-870-1006 anytime. Online services may be conveniently accessed at cpsenergy.com. Customers can conveniently take care of the following services any hour or day by logging into Manage My Account:

  • start/stop/transfer service,
  • make payment arrangements,
  • set up a payment plan,
  • reconnect services following full payment of past-due bill
  • sign up for emergency alerts, and
  • update contact information, mailing address, and other options.

Customers in need of bill payment assistance can call (210) 353-2222. To pay bills by phone, customers can call (877) 257-1172. To mail a payment, customers can include their bill and payment to CPS Energy, P.O. Box 2678, San Antonio, TX 78289.

As cold weather moves into the San Antonio area starting today, CPS Energy crews are prepared to respond quickly and safely to any local weather-related outages and the utility is committed to providing customers with important updates. High winds are in the forecast, and CPS Energy reminds customers to please stay away from downed power lines and report them to CPS Energy at (210) 353-4357 (HELP). Do NOT attempt to move or drive over the lines. Treat them as if they are live. Even in an outage, power lines may still have electricity running through them. 

As a reminder, customers are encouraged to sign up online for Energy Alerts or call (210) 353-2222 to sign up and provide their emergency contact information.
