CPS ENERGY HOSTS PUBLIC INPUT SESSION FOLLOWING MONTHLY BOARD MEETING

Utility to host additional public input session after April 3 Board meeting to engage with customers

March 28, 2023 (SAN ANTONIO) – CPS Energy continues to provide the public with various ways to participate and engage in public comment. The utility encourages public comments before monthly Board of Trustees and Rate Advisory Committee (RAC) meetings. An additional public input session will be held from 5:30- 6:30 p.m. following the Board of Trustees meeting on April 3. The evening public input session on April 3 will provide the community and stakeholders with an opportunity to engage with our leaders on a variety of topics as they relate to CPS Energy.

“We believe the next evolution of engagement is more collaborative and built upon consistent, two-way communication,” said CPS Energy Board Chair Janie Martinez Gonzalez. “CPS Energy is community-owned and the input we receive allows us to make better informed decisions on how to move San Antonio forward.  We encourage our community to engage with us to learn more and provide us their feedback at our events, monthly meetings, and the new public input periods that we’ll host quarterly.”

Pre-register to speak during public comment by emailing [email protected] or calling 210-353-4662. The public comment registration period begins Wednesday, March 29 at 5:00 p.m. through Friday, March 31 at 1:00 p.m. Comments and feedback can be provided anytime by contacting [email protected]. Mail can be sent to  CPS Energy, P.O. Box 1771, San Antonio, TX 78296.
