CPS ENERGY HOSTS OPEN HOUSE TO ENGAGE WITH COMMUNITY
Open house will provide community with information on conservation, billing assistance and other topics
July 18, 2023 (SAN ANTONIO)– CPS Energy invites the community to participate and engage with them at an open house taking place Wednesday, July 26, 2023. The open house will have two sessions available for the community to attend. The morning session will take place from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and the evening session will take place from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the utility’s headquarters at 500 McCullough. The open house will feature several information stations on topics such as energy conservation, billing assistance and much more.
“We look forward to productive engagement and dialogue with our community at our upcoming open house,” said DeAnna Hardwick, Chief Customer Strategy Officer. “Our team is dedicated to being transparent and providing various opportunities for our customers to weigh in on what their community-owned utility is doing. We value the feedback we receive and are committed to working closely with our community as we weigh the future decisions CPS Energy will make.”
During the open house, attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in CPS Energy’s public input survey, another tool the utility is using to collect customer feedback. The survey will remain open to the public until August 31, 2023 and will gauge customers’ feedback on topics such as ongoing investments and customer programs.
The utility hosted two open houses last year focused on the power generation planning process. Open houses are one avenue the utility is using to collect customer feedback. Other ways include public input opportunities before monthly Board of Trustees meetings and quarterly evening public input sessions.
