CPS Energy’s day in and day out focus is to provide reliable, affordable, safe, secure, environmentally responsible and resilient power to the customers in our service area 24/7/365. 

Our owner, the City of San Antonio, has many responsibilities, including providing waste collection to their residents.  In some cases, they have expanded waste collection to other areas. At our owner’s direction, we have provided billing for these services to this expanded area.

If the City wishes to continue or extend this partnership on waste collection and we are instructed to continue this billing, we will follow their direction and continue billing for these services.
