Stinson Middle School reenergized after early morning power outage
Students and staff arrived to a dark school this morning due to an early morning power outage. CPS Energy crews were on site by 8:30 a.m. to begin the process of replacing an underground cable. The outage was restored by 10:00 a.m. In addition to Stinson MS, the outage briefly affected nearby Farris Athletic Complex, Brandeis High School and Steubing Elementary School. These facilities were back on by 8:00 a.m.
