San Antonio, Texas – (January 14, 2021) – Today, the San Antonio City Council unanimously voted to reappoint Mr. John Steen for a second term on the CPS Energy Board of Trustees. While he, like each Trustee, is dedicated to serving all CPS Energy customers, he regionally represents the Northeast Quadrant of the energy company’s service territory. In January 2018, Mr. Steen began serving as the Board’s Chair, a position that periodically rotates among Board members. He is an attorney who previously served as the 108th Texas Secretary of State and as a commissioner of the Texas Department of Public Safety.
