To meet the changing needs and expectations of our customers, CPS Energy will be performing extensive and necessary system upgrades beginning at 8 p.m., Thursday, May 25 until 7 a.m., Tuesday, May 30. During this time all offices, customer walk-in centers, online account management tools, as well as our call center will be closed and unavailable for transactions. Our website, cpsenergy.com, will remain available for general information.
Emergencies can occur at any time, and our crews are available 24/7, even on holidays, to respond to gas and electric emergency situations, and will not be affected by this system upgrade. Emergencies should be reported to 210-353-HELP (4357) or 1-800-870-1006.
All online account management tools will be unavailable over the holiday weekend, and customers are asked to handle all payment/business transactions prior to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 in order to avoid any service interruptions.
Pay locations like HEB, Chase, Walgreen’s (kiosk), Woodforest National Bank, Exxon, Money Box/Speedy Cash, Western Union, and other retail locations will not be available to handle payments for electric/gas services. Customers are encouraged to make payments prior to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 25.
All of our customer walk-in centers and the call center will be fully staffed at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30 in order to assist all customers.
