2016-17 Annual Report: Improving Our Environment
By Scott Wudel on August 1, 2017
Hot, humid summers always lead to thoughts of water conservation. The next time you get a cold glass of water or jump in the pool, know that CPS Energy is doing its part to save both energy and water. We save an estimated 10 billion gallons of Edwards Aquifer water each year!
How? Our power plants need water to make energy. Today, people enjoy fishing and boating at the lakes, which preserve valuable drinking water.
