CPS Energy unveils Simply Solar℠ – new look for solar programs
Two new pilot solar programs attracting thousands of CPS Energy customers feature a new seal of approval. Simply Solar℠ is the trademarked name for CPS Energy’s new solar initiatives, which include Roofless Solar and SolarHostSA.
“When our customers see Simply Solar℠, it’s our stamp of approval. We’re aggressively rolling out solar programs that provide our customers choices to have this form of clean energy,” said Cris Eugster, executive vice president and chief generation and strategy officer. “The new initiatives will be marketed under Simply Solar℠. We encourage our customers to look for the logo that identifies and represents our programs.”
CPS Energy partnered with Clean Energy Collective (CEC) and PowerFin Partners for two separate pilot programs – Roofless Solar and SolarHostSA, respectively. Customers must pre-enroll in the programs through the companies’ websites: rooflesssolar.com and solarhostsa.com. Both the Roofless Solar and SolarHostSA pilot programs will roll out later this year.
No phone calls or visits are being made to customers to solicit enrollments. Customers who receive calls, emails or visits soliciting participation in solar programs said to be tied to CPS Energy should dismiss the contact as a scam. Customers can report any incidents of fraud by calling CPS Energy’s Security Department at (210) 353-4000.
