CPS ENERGY TO HOST TELE-TOWN HALL TO ENGAGE WITH COMMUNITY ON FLEXIBLE PATH STRATEGY

CPS Energy is hosting a series of Tele-Town Hall events in 2021 to engage with the community and get feedback on important initiatives it is working on. The first Tele-Town Hall, scheduled for Thursday, February 4, from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., will be a conversation about the utility’s Flexible PathSM strategy for San Antonio’s Reliable, Affordable, and cleaner energy future.

The February 4 Tele-Town Hall will focus on the importance of CPS Energy’s Guiding Pillars that form the basis for the company’s actions and decisions. Participants will learn more about Affordability, Reliability, Resiliency, Environmental Responsibility, Safety, and Security and how those Pillars are balanced for the benefit of customers.

The discussion will also include updates on the FlexPOWER BundleSM initiative, FlexSTEPSMenergy efficiency solutions, and bill assistance programs available to customers. Participants will hear from:

  • Ms. Paula Gold-Williams, President & CEO
  • Mr. Rudy Garza, Chief Customer Engagement Officer
  • Dr. Cris Eugster, Chief Operating Officer
  • Ms. Krista Davis, Director of Energy Supply & Market Operations Strategy
  • Mr. Rick Luna, Director of Technology & Product Innovation

Members of the community are encouraged to register at www.cpsenergy.com/townhall to receive a phone call at the start of the event to join the Tele-Town Hall. Participants also can livestream the Tele-Town Hall at cpsenergy.com/townhall or on CPS Energy’s Facebook page. Customers on the phone will have the opportunity to be put in a queue to ask questions through a live call-in feature. If their question is not answered live, all callers will have an opportunity to leave a message at the end of the event, which will be shared and answered by CPS Energy at a later date. The event will be recorded and posted on the CPS Energy website. In accordance with local COVID-19 safety guidelines which ensure the safety of CPS Energy customers, employees and the community, Tele-Town Halls will be hosted virtually and are accessible by phone, video teleconference, and on Facebook.
