CPS ENERGY TO HOLD SPECIAL BOARD MEETING BY TELEPHONE CONFERENCE

San Antonio, Texas – May 19, 2020 – CPS Energy will host a special meeting of the Board of Trustees convening as the Risk Management Committee on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 to update its Board members on COVID-19 business continuity matters as well as the current management and operation of the municipal electric and gas systems.

The May 20 meeting is strictly informational, with no votes being taken. At any time, Board members may move to executive session.  

Like CPS Energy’s April 20 Board meeting, this Special Meeting will be held via telephone conference as CPS Energy continues to implement safe practices, such as social distancing. There will be no in-person access. The public is invited to participate in the Public Comment portion of the meeting by registering to speak on posted meeting topics between 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. They can register via telephone by calling 210-353-4662 and will be called to speak in the order they register.

The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2020.  Shortly before the meeting begins, listeners can stream audio at cpsenergy.com/boardmeetings or dial 855-962-1328.  The full agenda, with the planned topics noted therein, will be available at the same website. The meeting will be recorded, and the recording will be posted to the website at a later time.

The regular board meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
