CPS ENERGY OFFICES CLOSED THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11 IN OBSERVANCE OF VETERANS DAY

Customer service hours temporarily extended on Wednesdays starting Nov. 17

November 9, 2021 (SAN ANTONIO) – CPS Energy offices and customer service centers will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2021, in observance of Veterans Day, a day to honor the people who have served in the U.S. armed forces.

As the energy provider for Military City USA, CPS Energy extends a sincere thanks and appreciation to all veterans and those currently serving our country, including 280 CPS Energy employees. They join the ranks of about 19 million veterans who have served our country according to a Veterans Day proclamation from the White House.

During the holiday closure Thursday, customers can report natural gas or electric emergencies by calling 210-353-HELP (4357) or 1-800-870-1006 anytime. CPS Energy customer service centers will resume normal business hours of 7:45 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12. Customer service hours will be temporarily extended to 6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays only starting on Wednesday, November 17.

Online services may be conveniently accessed through Manage My Account at cpsenergy.com anytime, including holidays. Customers are encouraged to go online and update their emergency contact information, which will help them receive critical notices from CPS Energy during emergency events such as weather advisories, Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) mandates, gas leaks, and more.

Customers can also use Manage My Account for a variety of self-service needs, including:

  • start/stop/transfer service,
  • make payment arrangements, and
  • set up a payment plan.

To pay bills by phone, customers can call (877) 257-1172. To mail a payment, customers can include their bill and payment to CPS Energy, P.O. Box 2678, San Antonio, TX 78289.

CPS Energy has resumed normal operations and encourages customers who are experiencing financial hardship to call 210-353-2222 during normal business hours or visit CPS Energy at any of its community events. The energy company and its community partners have connected customers to nearly $42 million in bill payment assistance. Federal funding for utility assistance remains available through both the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. Payment plan options are also available, along with a variety of assistance programs.
