San Antonio, Texas – (July 7, 2020) – Today at 5:00 p.m., CPS Energy kicks off the first in a series of virtual People First Community Fairs designed to help customers become more energy-efficient and save money on their energy bills. The first virtual fair is co-hosted by CPS Energy and District 2 Councilwoman Jada Andrews-Sullivan.
Customers are invited to participate in learning simple ways to save money and gain valuable insight into easy ways to conserve energy. Customers will also get an up-close look at opportunities to help them manage their energy bills year-round and find out about payment and assistance programs.
“Helping our customers during these challenging times is our top priority so we’re being creative in how we bring valuable information to them. We are excited to be working with Councilwoman Andrews-Sullivan and thankful for the support from our partners to bring useful information directly to our customers in a safe manner,” said KJ Feder, Vice President of Community Engagement. “We, as well as our partners, have a variety of assistance programs to help those experiencing financial hardship. We also have information on energy payment options and energy-saving tips for customers to help them manage their energy use and save money, especially as more people are working from home, and the temperatures rise.”
Customers will hear insightful presentations on energy efficiency and conservation programs, online tools, and assistance programs.
